Telax Provides Hosted ACD Software to All State Agencies

Telax Hosted Call Center will provide hosted ACD solutions to all state agencies. The company has won a competitive bid issued by the State of Tennessee for a five year contract to this end. This win enables all state agencies to empower their employees with an intuitive, browser-based user interface that is easy to learn and use.

Established in 1999, Telax Hosted Call Center offers its clients a customizable, easy-to-use hosted call center solution that includes responsive day-to-day support without signing long-term contracts.
“Telax provides a key arrow in our quiver of service offerings,” said Bob Watson, Communications Systems (News - Alert) Analyst, Office of Information Resources, in a statement. “We are moving to an IP based telephony environment and a hosted ACD solution will give our state agencies the ability to access cloud based contact center services.”
The State of Tennessee has decided to use hosted ACD solutions for all state agencies as according to former US Federal CIO Vivek Kundra estimation, his Cloud First strategy would save the federal government about $5 billion each year with their implementation of cloud computing.
By this strategic move, the State of Tennessee will save money and maintain as well as improve its existing services.
Telax is set for a tremendous growth period in the coming months as analysts predict growth in cloud based computing. Several companies no longer want to follow the traditional approach of in-sourcing contact center technology and tech support and Telax is prepared to address this demand. In August 2012, the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA (News - Alert)) extended their contract with Telax Hosted Call Center.
